Furzley Serenaide - Within the top 20 of 50 competitors in our section (Intro). What a start to our first aff ode, the heavens opened onto solid ground so created a shocking riding surface, especially as we don't have studs! The dressage went well and we were joint 2nd, sadly the show jumping caused problems, mainly demolishing a fence due to sliding into it! So we had 18 faults overall for this due to 10 time faults and 2 knock downs. The cross country was my main worry of the day but she flew round, I took it a little slow due to the ground so we ended with 18 time faults, overall a great day though!! Very pleased with her as if the ground was right, we'd have done a lot better!

Furzley Serenaide - 2nd, Wa hoo!! We went clear in the XC which included a drop fence and jumping into water! Really pleased as we were ahead with the dressage by 8 points, clear SJ and 13 time faults in the XC but the ground was rock solid and understandably she didn't flow but that part doesn't matter, we are saving the legs for the Aff BE ODE next weekend, eek!

Furzley Serenaide - 6th, coming top in the dressage and a clear SJ round sadly we had 2 refusals (drop fence and steps) which resulted in a couple of time faults. Overall very pleased as not many went clear in the XC
18th May - Hunter Trial - Chilham Park
Furzley Serenaide - Sadly was not placed in the Novice, 2ft 9" class but went round having a brilliant time barr refusing at the water jump, which I expected!

Prior to updating Furzley Serenaide has been competing in unaffiliated dressage over the winter with success, having qualified for NPS (prelim), Oldencraig, Hickstead and UK Riders in both Prelim and Novice.
