25th - 27th - NF Breed Show - New Park
Busy few days at the breed show this year, Furzley Marinaide went for the stallion day to do the ridden and found it quite exciting in the go round but did a nice individual show. He then returned for the performance day and produced a nice prelim test and then sadly had a pole in the jumping resulting in a 5th place for the combined training. Furzley Mermaide had a fantastic HOYs class and was 2nd with 48/50 for the ride and 46/50 for confirmation. The inhand day had some good results for all ponies taken, Furzley Fanfaire was 5th in the large 2yr old filly class who showed her flexibility in the ring...! Sharpham Quaver won the large novice brood mare class, Furzley Serenaide was 2nd in the large open brood mare class, the foals then went on to take first and second placings in the filly foal class with Furzley Foreign Affaire taking the honours and then going on to reserve foal champion.
19th August - NPS Grand Prix Ridden Finals - Equifest, Peterborough
Furzley Mermaide won the breed section and went on to take the overall championship!
1st - 3rd August - NPS Summer Champs
Furzley Mermaide was a gem for these 3 days, being placed in all finals we qualified where the classes didn't clash! The highlight being 2nd in the 5yr old final, then 6th in the Intermediate ridden final and 7th in the silver medal ridden.

12th/13th May - Northern New Forest Supporters Show - Selby
Where to start....! On the Saturday we had entered the G1 dressage (Prelim) which after a quick sheet adding up and getting 70.8% which was well over the 65% pass mark so we quickly got back on board and in for the Novice test (G2) and managed to pass that too! So day one done and Mermaide had already done well,
So onto Sunday, after a very cold nights sleep in the box (not quite a frozen as Addington) and Mermaides overnight stabke flooding we had a wait til the afternoon and the WHP had finished, in the inhand class we came 3rd, then straight into the NF/Conn Open ridden where we were placed 2nd after in interesting run in with a Connie! Then came the Open NF Ridden which we won, which took us into the NF Ridden Championship, which we won. Then onto the overall NF Championship, which we won! Then onto the overall ridden championship, which we won and took the silver medal rossette!! Then to top it all of, we took the supreme of show...

FOAL UPDATE!
Last night/early this morning Sharpham Quaver foaled, a dark bay filly with 4 white socks and a blaze, both are doing well. Sired by Furzley Marinaide
21st April - NPS Spring Championship Show - Malvern
WHAT A DAY! Rain, Hail, sun, hail, sun, rain - The April showers were out in force!!
First class of the day, Intermediate ridden - 1st place! (Almost had tears in the ring!) Second class of the day 5yr old 'age' class, 1st place and then we went Champion on the age classes! Really chuffed with Furzley Mermaide today,
14th/15th April - NPS Dressage Finals - Addington
Furzley Mermaide produced two nice tests over the weekend which was all I wanted from her as we hadn't done any dressage since we qualified last year! In the Prelim we came 8th individually and then 9th in the team competion, we were not placed in the novice test but being our 2nd ever test at this level I did not expect anything with the level of ponies at the competition! However we were about joint 13th and came 10th in the team comptition
28th March - WE HAVE A FOAL!!
Furzley Serenaide succesfully foaled a stunning Chestnut filly by Rivaldo H, the name 'Furzley Foreign Affaire' has been agreed by the stallions owner in Belgium which is where she will be going once weaned
24th March - NPS Area 13 Spring Show - Olney Showground
Furzley Mermaide was a star at her first outing since September 2011, after just a fortnight of being in our 'open' bit she has taken to it well (its more me working out where both sets of reins go!)
