November - News from Germany

Ben Vesters has e-mailed with news of Sportaides son who has taken the Breed Championship at the recent German stud book passing, congratulations to the Van Gort's with their homebred Einkenhorst's Manfred 

29th October - NPS Autumn Champs

Furzley Accolaide had a superb end to the season taking the breed championship in the Grand Prix class, sadly F.Mermaide could not persue her qualification due to months of saddle problem resulting in her missing this show 

5th & 6th October  - HOYs

Furzley Accolaide competed in the ridden on Wednesday sadly he wasn't bought forward into the final 11, only one forester was and congratulations to Farriers Fingerprint for coming 3rd,

Furzley Charaide competed on the Thursday in the WHP and after a good clear he was placed 3rd, congratulations to his owner Cath Harrison. He has had a brilliant year with this result adding to his RIHS WHP 2nd placing. 

25th September - Performance grading

Furzley Marinaide gained his grade 1 jumping (2ft9") which added to his grade 3 (elementary) dressage from the previous year to give him 'performance status'

Sadly Furzley Mermaide missed out on her grade 1 dressage (prelim) obtaining 62.5% but very few ponies passed this year and I think she was dressage'd out after the previous day! Being only 4yrs we'll try again another year. 

24th September - BSPS Area 11 Show, Sparsholt

Furzley Mermaide qualifies for the NPS Dressage finals in both prelim (her 2nd ever test performed) and novice (her first ever test at this level!) we then came 5th in the open ridden class 

18th September - Newbury Show

Furzley Fanfaire - 2nd, youngstock NF and connemara class 

Furzley Mermaide - 5th in both the adult NF/Conn inhand class and the open ridden

11th September - Romsey Show 

Furzley Fanfaire - 2nd, yearling class

Furzley Marinaide - 2nd, stallion class

Playmoor Royal Mint won the foal class, sired by Furzley Marinaide

3rd September - Moreton in the Marsh

Furzley Accolaide qualifies for HOYs adding to his succesful year as he has already qualified for the BSPS semi finals and the NPS ridden grand prix. He will compete on the Wednesday and his full brother, Furzley Charaide will be there on the Thursday to compete in the WHP

27th - 29th August - Annual Breed Show

Furzley Accolaide - 4th ridden stud stallions & 4th in the HOYs qualifier

Furzley Mermaide - 1st 4/5yr old large novice ridden, reserve novice ridden champion - 4th prelim dressage (her first ever test!) 65%

Furzley Fanfaire - 2nd yearling filly

Furzley Colonnaide - 4th stud 2/3yr old colts

The 2yr old forest bred colt, Shadepond Beckett by Furzley Marinaide was passed for his licence at the show too, congratulations to his owner Mrs A M Dibben

13th August - Ellingham Show

Furzley Colonnaide - 1st, 2/3yr old class and reserve NF Champion

Furzley Fanfaire - 2nd, yearling class

Foal sired by Furzley Marinaide won the foal class 

4th - 6th August - NPS Summer Championships

Furzley Mermaide - 1st NFU Mutual Open Ridden (Breed Champion) which then took us into the main evening performance on the Thursday night, which is a massive ask for a 4yr old but she coped with all the noise, excitement and lights! We came 7th in the Picton Championship class after sadly wrong legging it in the individual show. Only the Friday the Home produced finals and the HOYs class clashed, so we ended up in the HOYs class! We came 4th which for a first attempt and only being 4yrs old I was beyond chuffed with!

Furzley Mermaide - 7th in both the ridden and inhand NF classes

Furzley Marinaide took part in a clear round XC, 2ft 3" max but our first ever attempt at XC and he enjoyed himself and flew round going clear! 

10th June - South of England

Furzley Mermaide - 2nd, 4yr old and over inhand

Furzley Fanfaire - 1st, 1-3yr old inhand and Res NF Champion 

5th June - NF Enthusiasts Show

Furzley Marinaide - 3rd WHP Starter Stakes, 2nd Novice Dressage

21st May - NPS Area 6 Show - Solihull

Furzley Mermaide - 3rd Picton Qualifier, highest placed NF 

15th May - Northern NF Supporters Show - Selby

Furzley Mermaide was an absolute gem, in the largest ridden class we'd ever done (11 in a 20x60 indoor!) she came 2nd, taking the highest Novice (Picton Qualified) and Home produced which I was over the moon with! We then went onto the ridden NF Championship and then to the over NF Championship where we came reserve to Sabinas Gold Sovereign, so pretty damn pleased with that day out!! 

10th May - Furzley Accolaide Update

Accolaide, ridden and produced by Kate Chapel have continued his positive start to the season by coming 2nd in the ridden and qualifying for the Peasedown at NPS rea 10. At Area 25 he won the ridden class and was reserve champion, he has also qualified for the M&M ridden grand prix

24th April - East Mids WP&CS Spring Show - Clumber Park

Furzley Mermaide continued her ridden success and came 2nd in the picton qualifying class  

17th April - NCPA Notts & Lincs - Newark Showground

Furzley Mermaide had her first outing at a show for the year and with some peer pressure we ended up in the picton ridden, it was a genuine novice class with us all on 4yr olds and I was very chuffed with coming 3rd and being a highest placed Forester! 

Olympia 2nd Round!

Furzley Accolaide has won his place to the Olympia 2nd rounds in October 

10th April - RIHS WHP Qualifier, Uttoxeter

Furzley Charaide has qualified again and took the championship on the day with his new rider Jo Callwood 

9th April - Stallion Passing -

Furzley Colonnaide has been granted hs stallion licence as a 2 yr old 

7th April - West Mids Stallion Show - Malvern

Furzley Accolaide competed in his first Hoys class and was placed 7th, being the highest NF in the class

24th March - Unaffiliated Dressage - Arena UK

Furzley Mermaide went out for her 2nd outing and behaved well again, beautiful sunny day this time though so it was much appreciated! Intro A this time with 66.48% which is still a pleasing mark! 

10th March - Unaffiliated Dressage - Arena UK

Furzley Mermaide had her first competition under saddle, huge venue but a lovely quiet Thursday! She behaved really well considering the wind speed, we obtained 68.26% in the Intro B with some nice comments from the judge and came 1st in the class and ended up with the highest % of the day!!
